The following issues when using FormLizard are known to us, and may (or may not) be addressed further in future versions of FormLizard:
Including a period (".") in a field name
Issue: If you include a period in a field name, data entered by the end-user in that field will not save properly.
Solution: Don't include a period in any field name.
Starting a field tag with a number
Issue: If you start a field tag with a number, such as [[2nd Item]], the upload will not process the field correctly. You can use one or more numbers in any other position.
Solution: Don't start a field with a number, only start them with a letter.
Footer in conditional forms
Issue: If a conditional form has a footer, the footer may overwrite the primary form's footer.
Solution: If you are using footers in your primary form, make sure the conditional forms also have the same footer.
Redirect loop while trying to submit a document to Google Docs
Issue: When attempting to submit a completed document to Google Docs, a redirect loop occurs and an error is displayed.
Solution: If you have both a Google Apps account and a personal Google account, and are logged into both, try logging out of the account you're not trying to submit to. Another possible solution is to clear your browser's cookies and cache, log back into FormLizard, and try again.
Fields named "action"
Issue: Fields named "action" will not store data and show up as blank at the end of the interview.
Solution: Rename the field anything but "action."
Internet Explorer 9
Issue: When using FormLizard with Internet Explorer 9 an error message is displayed which says that you are using IE6.
Solution: Simply click through the error message. You should still be able to use FormLizard, though there may be some visual glitches. This will be addressed in a later release. The other option would be to use a different browser such as Google Chrome or FireFox.
